The two NOAA 200S lidars have been performing 1 hour long dual Doppler stares at the 50m, 100m and 150m sonic location and 50m, 100m, 150m heights above the lidar super-site. Based on yesterday's XPIA conference call we will change the super-site heights to 40m, 50m, 60m, 80m, 100m, 120m and 140m. We are performing a extended time stare to ensure the time-synchronization is within acceptable limits. We saw some issues where sometimes the time may drift.
Today, the two NOAA 200S and the UTD 200S will attempt to do triple Doppler stares and calibrate time-sync and pointing. The triple Doppler stares will be performed near the sonics as well as the lidar super-site.
