2015 03 13 0200Z Radiosonde Launch Report
The sky remained overcast and was covered with increasing low clouds. Cloud base was around 2000 ft AGL, and as you can see LCL was around 770 mb. The wind was intermittently moderate (around 10) at the surface. Intermittent light drizzle was observed as well. The radiosonde was launched at 02.00Z. The accent rate was around 5 m/s. There was a very shallow layer of inversion near the surface that developed up to 830 mb. The boundary layer extended to around 720 mb. The atmosphere was stable, with upper air inversion from 460 to 370 mb. The air was near saturation from 540 to 470 mb. Winds was quite strong from surface to 780 mb ranging from 8 to 15 mph. The winds above that was light, up to 450 mb and directions varied a lot. The winds above 400 mb showed upper air stronger SW flow. Note that in raw data the sonde started to record NaN's consistently at around 200 mb before I terminated the observation.
